Yotsuba's Lost Days

Yotsuba wasn’t expecting to suddenly be transported back to her own world so suddenly, and, for a moment, she had no idea where she was, since it had been so long since she had seen her own street. She looked surprised and shocked, and turned around as she called out, hoping to gain some answers. “Luci?!! Dia-oh…oh..” The moment she turned around, she realized that she was back in her own world. Her own destroyed world. Shock was the only thing preventing her from crying outright at seeing her Daddy sitting in the entrance of their house in a state that she could only describe as super dried up and..scary. Fuka had collapsed on the ground in the same state outside of her house, since the two had been watching her play around in the rain before she had been saved.
Slowly, she walked up to Fuka, her eyes wide, due to shock. This wasn’t supposed to happen. This wasn’t the future she wanted! Enoch had promised her that this wasn’t gonna happen and he said that it was hard for him to forget! And Luci was helping him! An Angel wouldn’t let him forget! Zett wouldn’t either..and Dia was gonna help them too, along with the other good grown-ups..
The child shook Fuka’s shoulders as hard as she could, but stopped almost as quickly as she started, crying out. “Gross! That smells super bad! Fuka..please get up. Enoch promised that he’d save everyone, so you can’t be dead..” Of course, the corpse stayed silent, and that silence, along with the rotting smell and this horrible, horrible situation-the one she had seen in the photograph she had given Enoch when the ‘enchanted’ souls were out and about-unleashed the waterworks. Crying loudly and screaming for him, Yotsuba rushed to her dead, decaying Daddy and gave him a big hug, trying to ignore the fact that he was dead and smelled bad, trying to ignore the fact that this shouldn’t have happened at all, and trying to ignore the fact that her Daddy wasn’t hugging her back.
Of course, there was an explanation: maybe Zo had messed up again and Enoch was still trying to save everyone. But..where were the souls gonna go when they were freed? They couldn’t go in these bodies-they were messed up! Maybe Enoch didn’t know! But..what could she do? Puzzled, scared, and still crying, she spoke to the corpse of her adoptive father. “Daddy..how can Yotsuba help you?! This body’s super gross and scary and it’s not you! Where can your soul go?! How can I get back?! I wanna go back! I haveta let Enoch know! I wanna play with Dia and Luci and Zett and Romeo and everyone! I wanna support them so they can help you and Jumbo and Fuka and Mommy-oh! Mommy!”
Quickly, Yotsuba let go of her Daddy, and, ignoring the fact that she now smelt like a corpse, she quickly ran over to the neighbor’s house and barged in, finding the gate unlocked for some reason. Perhaps Fuka had left it open so that she could quickly walk back when the rain was over. It didn’t matter now though. All that mattered was when Yotsuba burst into Fuka’s house and yelled “Anyone here?!” all that greeted her was silence and the smell of decaying bodies. Shaking a little, Yotsuba walked into the kitchen and saw that Mommy and Asagi were sitting in the same state at the kitchen table. Slowly, she backed out and started to weep again. “Mommy and Asagi are dead too…is Ena dead too?!”
Yotsuba climbed up the steps, still crying, and ran into Ena’s room, slamming the door and yelling, “Ena! You gotta be okay! Please..” Sadly, Ena was lying at her desk in the same state. It seemed that she had been studying-not that Yotsuba knew what that was or why Ena might be interested in it. All she knew was that Daddy and Mommy and Fuka and Asagi and Ena were all dead, and she was all alone with quite a few questions, no answers, and no way to get back. She couldn’t be brave here, so she followed Lucifel’s advice. She collapsed on the floor right there and sobbed her little heart out.
“Luci..Enoch..Dia..Zett! Help..how does Yotsuba get back? I don’t want this future..I don’t want it at all…”
